The news of rape and brutal murder of a medical student not only stuns Kota (Rajasthan) but also shakes the whole nation. Shivani Shivaji Roy (Rani) is appointed to investigate the case further, but  revelation of the truth that a young but psychopath is behind this leaves her stunned. How she catches this ferocious man, forms a tale of mystery and thrill.  
 
 
This movie is Penned by Gopi Puthran, who is also the director of Mardaani 2, had beautifully directed this movie,  Mardaani2 engages you right from the first frame and keeps you hooked throughout. Rani Mukerji was excellent in the movie. She holds the attention of the audience with her character as Shivani Shivaji Roy, Dialogues enhances the performance of Rani Mukerji. A few scenes will make you cry and makes you feel uncomfortable.
 
 
 Not only Rani but the supporting cast has also done an amazing job, Vishal Jethwa ( He had started his career from Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap show and done couple of TV Serials) deserves a special mention for his character as a psychopath. I hated him in the movie but I thoroughly loved his acting. His character will show you different layers of acting, From the starting scene he holds the grip and in every scene, he amazes you.  Rachita Arora’s  (Music Director) thrilling background music will keep you hooked and on the edge of your seats.
 
The rape case statistics shown at the start of the film (and even towards the end) are extremely shocking. For instance, over 2000 rapes are committed by boys under 18 years every year, which is disturbing.  
 
The best part was this movie was of less than 2 hours and with no songs. This movie deserved to be watched.
