Verdict : Its a bed time giggling story!

First timers are getting a wider space into box office this season. Where most of the films run only because of its actors this story is definite to find its space through its story plot. Love Wrinkle Free is a unique story. It’s simple yet different from others. Love, Wrinkle-free is an Indian-English language film that is set in Goa. It carries all the flavors, spice, tone and naughtiness of Goa. Dam Maro Dum was a movie that portrayed Goa in a different angle. This movie is somewhat bringing a bed time kind of short, off beat light heartened story. It’s youthful, naughty and spiced up with confusions.

Savio (38) is a Senior Area Sales Manager of an underwear company. Savio Mundane’s life is thrown out of gear with the unplanned pregnancy of his (46) year old religious wife Annie. Annie owns a restaurant business.  The matter complicates further when their adopted daughter reacts to this pregnancy. A sudden twist adds up to savio’s complications when he meets a sensual travelling Photographer Natalie who wants him to do something ‘UNIQUE’ for her.

The story stars funny when Savio plans to open his own business of edible lingerie. On the other hand Savio’s client’s son falls in love with Annie. How will Savio balance all the messy situation is what we need to find out?

Well Sandeep Mohan has written and directed the movie. He say’s “Love, Wrinkle-free is an off-beat, light-hearted film that promises to make you smile while making you think. In that sense, it caters to an international audience that is used to sensible entertaining films.” He carries the story plot in a flow that engages audiences to the core. As lead actors Ash Chandler (Savio) and Shernaz Patel (Annie) were good enough. They easily slipped into the character and brought out a perfect blend in their chemistry. The locations of Goa and the script of Goan dialect added to the movie.

My verdict.

At its heart “Love Wrinkle Free’ is an offbeat light heartened story.  Good to watch first timers performing brilliantly. The fine editing Sherayas, cool sets of Pradipta and different story plot of Sandeep made a complete package of entertainment. But more in the movie could have added to its best. Some finis and the attachment to connect its audience where lacking in many places. Altogether it would have been a good film with more hard work put in. As far I can say it’s a good start that can be rate above average.
