Bobby Jasoos has been in news from a very long time all thanks to the film’s uniqueness in it’s story plus it’s leading actress Vidya Balan. Who can forget the role which she potrayed as Vidya Bagchi in her film Kahaani, which was a woman oriented film. Vidya has been very successful in all the woman centric films which she has done till now be it Dirty Picture, No One Killed Jessica or Parineeta . so there was no doubt that there was lot of expectation from her by the audience.

Bobby (Vidya Balan ) is been showed as a young jobless woman who has aspires to be a detective. She is so crazy to be a detective that she spies even those close to her even the unsuspecting people like her sister. Yes, she spies her sister & even her boyfriend & other residents of her area Mohalla Moghalpura just to earn some money,and then guess what Vidya hits a jackpot no we are not talking about her winning a lottery ticket or anything similar to it, a mysterious client (Kiran Kumar)comes to her with a assignment to find a girl named Aamna ,which Vidya does agree.While all this goes on there is a romance blooming between bobby & Tassavur (Ali Fazal) a Tv Journalist.

The first part of the movie is very  interesting & entertaining. But then all of sudden it seems as if the film has slowed down & it’s just dragging to pass the time limit of the movie. This all begins from that part wherethe assignment Vidya took is in its mid level.No doubt Vidya is no less than a action hero, as she runs across valleys in canvas shoes, fights with her dad( Rajendra Gupta) & has no worry about it.Does sound like an angry young action hero, right? But yeah hats off to her the way she pulled it off the way she did these scenes were really wonderful. Then there is this scene where She even comes face to face with a bad guy, warning him in hyderabadi accent “tereko malum nahi ki kise panga liya hai, choragi nahi Bobby tereko’’   

Believe us the film could have done much better had it if it didn’t waste too many frames dealing with Bobby & her confrontation of her family. Throughout the film Bobby’s father (Rajendra Gupta ) doesn’t talk her because he was not ok with the idea of bobby’s jasoosi. But then few minutes before the climax he changes & melts. Well the reason here is that father & daughter settle their issues they had between them & then all the love & all misgivens are forgiven.

Talking about the performance well Vidya Balan did suit her role playing bubbly,happy go lucky or the many getups  that she sports in the film. Ali too played his role extremely well. Even other characters too has been filmed extremely wonderfully.
The music by Shantanu Moitra too is been wonderful & suited the scenes.


No doubt this film is one of those very few movies released so far this year which one can recommend to their near & dear one’s to watch.
