Ganesh Acharya shares his life journey (Part-1)
Ganesh Acharya is a Bollywood choreographer, director, producer and actor. He has choreographed some of the famous item numbers and songs in Bollywood. A number of hit songs from various films including "Action Replayy", "Golmaal 3", "Omkara", "U Me Aur Hum" etc are to his credit. He has choreographed the popular item song "Khullam Khulla Pyar" from the film "Road". This song features the gorgeous Koena Mitra and the choreographer Ganesh Acharya himself. Ganesh Acharya has also choreographed in the films like "Ghatak" (1996), "Koi Hai" (2003), Chama chamma, Bedi jalaile (omkara) Mani Ratnam's "Raavan" (2010) , Chikni Chameli (Agneepath) and now coming soon "Halkat Jawani" (Heroine). He ventured into direction with the film "Swami" which released in 2007. He then directed "Money Hai Toh Honey Hai" (2008) starring Govinda . In 2002, he was nominated in Screen Weekly Awards for best choreography for Badi Mushkil song from Lajja (2001). In 2005, he was nominated for Technical awards in Zee Cine Awards as the best choreographer for the song Aisa Jadoo Dala Re from Khakhee (2004). In 2007 he won Film fare award for best choreography for the song Beedi from Omkara. Here's an exclusive inteview where he shares his life journey with us.
