Shreyas Talpade is one of the most versatile actors we have in the industry. It is always a treat to watch him on the screen. The actor who donned the hat of a director in 2017 with his film 'Poster boys' is all set for his next directorial titled 'SarCar ki Seva Mei'. The film had gone on floors in Lucknow in late 2019 but owing to Covid, the next schedule of the film could not be filmed.
Finally Shreyas who is also acting in the film started shooting for the film last week. The actor spoke to News Helpline about his direction, film and more.
Talking about his direction, the actor said, "My first film as a director was Poster boys. Sunny Deol has been instrumental in making me a director. I remember we went to narrate the script to him and he liked it. He asked for the director and I said we are still figuring. It was then he asked me to direct it and I took the plunge of directing the film then."
Talking about the film SarCar ki Seva Mei, he said, "This film is totally different. I remember Hari ji called me and said we want you to direct the film. When I heard the story,I really liked it. It is a simple slice of life film of a very simple man. As I said yes for direction, he asked me to act in it as well."
The title of the film is very catchy and unique. Talking about it, Shreyas said, "This is a story of a boy whose father wants him to get a government job and serve the government. But unfortunately he is not able to find a government job and he makes his living as a taxi driver until an incident changes the course of his life"
Film SarCar ki Seva Mei features Shreyas Talpade, Sudhir Pandey, Shraddha Jaiswal, Anil Charanjeet, Bijendra Kala, Chetna Pandey and Nikhil Mehta.
